Children's Table Upcycling Project
Oh, we do love seeing what you get up to with our fabrics and our cotton poplin is so versatile there really is so much you can do with it. It can be used for a variety of sewing, crafts and even upcycling projects.
We were sent through photos of this project by Hannah and I instantly fell in love. She kindly shared with me how she made it as I'd definitely love to give this Belle & Boo Ikea Hack a go for my own children. Our woodland fabric really transforms the plain pine table into something really unique for your child's interior.
Instructions:
- Get a fat quarter of a Belle and Boo fabric and an Ikea Latt Table.
- Cover the fabric with Lazy Girl Slicker Iron On Vinyl (or another similar product).
- Use Modge Podge to stick the laminated fabric to the table top.
- Paint the table with furniture paint (Hannah used Rustoleum furniture paint in duck egg blue) and seal paint with Modge Podge.
Et Viola! A simple yet effective children's furniture upcycle you could do in an afternoon.
If you've done some creative work with our fabrics we'd love to see your creations. Feel free to email us any photos or tag us on social media #belleandboo #belleandboofabric
